In Gran Velada we have a wide selection of candle colorants. With them it will be very easy to color and customize your handmade candles. Our colorants are of high quality, have a great power of opacity and good dispersion in the finished product. To adapt to all tastes we have a varied color palette. You can find different ranges of greens, earth tones, reds, yellows, pinks, purples or blues.

In this section of dyes for handmade candles you will find powdered pigments, grease anilines and liquid dyes, very comfortable to use. The three options will allow you to make homemade candles with the color you like best. You also have at your disposal varnishes and special paints for candles.

So that the final finish is perfect, from Gran Velada we recommend doing small stability and coloration tests before applying it on the final product. And it is that an excess of dye can cause part of the added content decant and in the lower part of the candle specks of color are appreciated.

The dose will depend largely on the result we are looking for, but keep in mind that a small amount is enough to obtain a high performance. With the same colorant can be achieved from intense colors to pastel tones, everything will depend on the amount we throw.

Candle-making dyes are added when paraffin is completely liquid at a temperature of about 80°C. The color is added to the taste and stirred well so that the wax is impregnated well with color.

If you want to see how the tone looks, you can do a color test. How? Very simple, you put a drop of the mixture of paraffin and dye on a surface, if it is cold much better, for example a tile. When it has solidified you will see what tone remains. The final result will be a little darker, since there is more paraffin and dye is more opaque.

The color palette we have created is based on the knowledge and criteria of our design team. Of course, it must be made clear that it is a subjective interpretation, since each person can have a different vision of the same color.
