WOOD FRAGRANCES
Woody fragrances encompass a set of aromatic essences that come from or are inspired by woods, leaves and even roots. They are intense and earthy fragrances, which transport us to the depth of nature, perfect to make all kinds of air fresheners with them. Cedar, oriental wood, myrrh or leather are some of the aromatic essences that you will find in this section, aromas that do not go out of style and that will last over time.
In this aromatic family it encompasses essences with very characteristic aromas and differentiated from each other. But in woody fragrances we will not only find aromatic essences that come exclusively from woods, such as the aromatic essence of pine. But it also includes others with a woody profile such as patchuli, which comes from the leaves of an oriental shrub and vetiver, which is a grass.
Although they have traditionally been identified as masculine fragrances, they are aromatic essences that both men and women like. Elegant and seductive aromas, which last over time, with characteristics very different from those of other olfactory families such as floral or citrus. They are concentrated, high quality and high performance essences, which you can combine with essences from other olfactory families. You will also need alcohol 96º, to dilute the essence, since it is concentrated. The recommended ratio? 70% alcohol and 30% essence. Both for mikados, as air fresheners, aromatic bags or perfumed ceramics proportion of essence and alcohol will be the same. Although you can reduce the mixture by adding a part of demineralized water. For example, 40% alcohol 96º + 30% demineralized water + 30% aromatic essence. If you want it to have a touch of color, add a few drops of water-soluble liquid dye.
