How to Make Scented Ceramics
Here's a step-by-step guide on how to make scented ceramics. You'll see how simple it is!
Weigh the water-based resin or plaster and place a small amount of the weighed material in a mortar. Disperse a pinch of pigment into it. Once well integrated, add it to the remaining weighed material. Keep in mind that pigments are highly concentrated, so only a small amount is needed. Alternatively, you can leave the figures blank and skip adding pigment.
Add water in the appropriate proportions and mix until you achieve a homogeneous and lump-free mass.
Fill the mold and tap it gently on the counter to ensure the mixture reaches all the crevices.
Allow it to dry before demolding. It's important that the figure is completely dry to avoid breakage during demolding.
To add fragrance, spray the figures on the back with a mixture of 96% alcohol (70%) and aromatic essence (30%).
