How to make candle holders
Below we explain step by step how to make candle holders with water-based resin. If you want to make them with cement the elaboration is practically the same.
- 1. Mix the resin and water until a homogeneous mass without lumps is obtained. You have to follow the proportions set by the manufacturer.
2. If you want the figures to have a touch of color, add a pinch of pigment to color the dough and stir well. You can also leave them blank and skip this step.
3. Fill the mold and give a few soft strokes on the countertop so that the dough settles well and reaches all the nooks and crannies. - 4. Let it dry well for a few hours and unmold carefully. It is important that it is well dried or the figure may break.
You can decorate the finished figure with glitter or with a mixture of matte resin + micas. In this way you will get personalized colors to give the perfect finish to your creations.
