How to Make Scented Ceramics
Below, we'll show you step by step how to make scented ceramics. You'll see how simple it is!
Weigh the water-based resin or plaster and put a small amount of the weighed material into a mortar to disperse a pinch of pigment. Once well integrated, add it to the previously weighed material. Keep in mind that pigments are highly concentrated, so you only need a small amount. You can also leave the figures blank by skipping the pigment step.
Add water in the appropriate proportions and mix until you achieve a homogeneous and lump-free mass.
Fill the mold and tap it on the countertop to ensure the mixture reaches all the crevices.
Allow it to dry before demolding. Important! The figure must be completely dry to avoid breakage during demolding.
To add fragrance, spray the figures from the back with a mixture of 96% alcohol (70%) and aromatic essence (30%).
