How to Make Scented Ceramics
Here's a step-by-step guide on how to make scented ceramics. You'll see how simple it is!
Weigh the water-based resin or plaster and put a small amount of the weighed material in a mortar to disperse a pinch of pigment. Once it's well integrated, add it to what we've weighed. Keep in mind that pigments are highly concentrated, so you should add a small amount. You can also leave the figures blank; in that case, don't add pigment.
Add water in the appropriate proportions and stir until you achieve a homogeneous and lump-free mixture.
Fill the mold and tap it gently on the countertop to ensure the mixture reaches all the crevices.
Let it dry before demolding. Important! The figure must be completely dry to avoid breakage during demolding.
To add fragrance, spray the figures on the back with a mixture of 96% alcohol (70%) and aromatic essence (30%).
